wondering if people changed tires on this already and whats the biggest size that fits on it , the stock tires looks a bit stretched would like some with a more square look on this wheels, if anyone has pics of it would be appreciated

I came here to ask almost the same question!

I want to put larger rims and tires on my Model 3 Long Range. I want to go with 20 inch, and i know Tesla suggests 235/35/20, and from what i have read everywhere, and this thread confirms it, 245/35/20 fits perfectly.

My question is this however. I have plans on lowering my Tesla with Eibach Springs. Lift Kits, Lowering Springs, Race Springs, Shocks & Sway Bars

Do you think going with the 245 I will get rubbing?

You'll be perfectly fine.

I have been thinking about going 255/30 R20. Seems to make the most sense when looking at the tire size calculators. I want to stay away from going any wider as I don't feel it would be a good mix of width and height on the OEM 9" wide rim. Anyone have any thoughts?
I want this too but on 8.5 in wheels. Based on asking around it seems like they will be fine for you, maybe a bit bulbous for my 8.5's

I think you should be fine albeit a 245 is probably ideal for that size rim. The 20 x 9 on the 21 Performance looks like a "stance'd" kinda tire and leaves the rim all kinds of exposed. I do not like it at all though I understand that it was for range reasons/rolling resistance.

I would also like to know if a 255/35r20 mounted on a 20x9 uberturbine will clear the front steering knuckle on a new model 3 performance without using a spacer.
What tire, exactly?

Tire widths are notoriously unreliable, with identically advertised width varying by 10-15mm (~1/2") in reality.
Then there are the variables of present (or absent) edge guards as well as the angle of the sidewall (does the thread end abruptly and go vertical, or does it curve). The point of rubbing on the suspension is usually not the tread, but the sidewall!

Once you start pushing boundaries of fitment, your evaluation needs to become VERY tire model specific.

You definitely don’t want to go 255/35/22 in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires! This is a 22 M3P all stock. They rub on the knuckle. Sounds like my bicycle in the 80’s with a card in the spokes!

Curious. Is that with the lugs tightened down and the tire testing on the ground? Is it just touching or does it push on on the tread at all? How's the clearance on the inner corner?

I ask because I have a set of tires (255/40-19) sitting in my garage, but it's 0.2 inches shorter (which would give me 0.1 inch more clearance) but the tread width and section width is more narrow. I was more confident about the diameter being okay, but now I'm concerned. Lol.

This is on the car on the road.

Thanks. Makes me feel a little better. As soon as my PS4S eats through a tad more tread or the the rainy season comes, the new tires are going on. I'm actually shopping spacers just in case there are any clearance issues on the inner edge, but based on your fitment I'm probably okay.
So I put the Firestone Indy 500 in a 255/40-19s on some 19x8.5 +35 Martian Wheels. I put some 5mm spacers all around just in case. It clears the top of the spindle fine. I can't really reach in to check inner clearance, but next week, I'll remove spacers on one front wheel just to check clearance without the spacer.

We should really put together a database of this kind of info.
