I just had my micro SD card replaced in my MCU2. The part description and number of the replacement part is Micro SD Card 8GB(1483217-00-A). Do MCU2s use 8GB cards (not 64GB)?
The Micro SD card at 8GB sounds correct.
I believe that contains the navigation data information.
The 64GB that you are remembering is the internal EMMC
that was failing and was the subject of a recall in MCU1.
The original size of the EMMC was 8GB.

So that is good news. A bit confused on why this would help audio issues (no music sounds, but fine turn signal, etc sounds) as this was the action they took to fix my audio issues. Hmmm…

I had a very similar problem, and a very similar fix. I suspect it's either hanging an I/O bus on the MCU, or maybe there's some caching on the SD card. But either way, when it goes south, it takes more than the navigation SW with it!
