The post probably isn't for everyone but is for you if you already had an Alliant account with a username and password and now have an auto loan with them also.
When you get financed with them but you have already had an Alliant account (I've banked with them for a while), you can't add another account to an already existing account. When you get your car loan paperwork with your new Member loan # on it, go to create a new Alliant account and enter that new member number. You will have to make new security questions and re-verify your email. Once you re-complete the "New Member" portal login instructions it will merge all accounts that you currently have open with them(presumably through SSN). I had to figure this one out on my own because no one there knew how to do it.
