Michigan Winter driving in a Model S

Last February we went through Wyoming and got caught in a blizzard. Well, I knew it was coming. Trucks off to the side of the road, cars here and there, people sliding everywhere. We did have a bit of sliding, but nothing that was surprising or difficult. I have just all seasons. And, as my signature says, a rear wheel drive Model S. It is amazing.

I traveled in western MI (north to south) a lot last year for work and my MS was awesome in the snow. The biggest challenge when doing a lot of miles on a western MI snow trip is range as fresh lake effect snow and cold weather will suck up the battery. Western MI has a decent number of hotels with chargers and staying there overnight really helps (for timing charge to finish just prior to departure in morning). More superchargers now than there were a year or two ago too.
