Missing Bluetooth Setting - Announcing Calls

I recently had a model x as a demo while the shop fixed a few issues on my car. During that process, I noticed when someone would call, the car would actually announce the caller. I can't find a way to get my car to handle this process.

Is a year thing or am i missing a setting?

I have a 2014 P85

I changed the ROM in one of our Androids - & bluetooth can no longer connect. Flashed back to the older version - erased all setting (per the manual) & still nothing. Oh well.

Could it have been that the phone was streaming audio and it was an app on the phone that announces the callers so it came through the car stereo?

By "announce" I assume an audio announcement.

Not aware of the Tesla having this function. iPhone with iOS 10+ will announce caller IF you have option turned on for the phone AND connected via Bluetooth.
