Mobile Broadband/Hotspot/MIFI?

Does anyone use a mobtile broadband Hotspot device (as opposed to hotspotting from my cell phone) to have a constant connection? Is there a provider who is better at this than others (my wireless is with Rogers at present).

I would to avoid having to reconnect the WiFI everytime (phone turns hotspot off after a time)

Just pay for the Premium Connectivity. If you spend any amount of time in your vehicle it's a good value and far less hassle than the workarounds (that also have a cost associated with them: hardware and data plans). Or are you trying for something else such as a hotspot for your kids' devices?

I use hotspot from my phone with my Model 3 but I have an automation setup on my phone to turn the hotspot on when I connect to the car and off again when i disconnect from it. This way it’s seamless for me. FYI

this has more to do with the hardware and not provider
there isn't too many options out there when i last looked

you'll need a unit with big battery otherwise it will power off when not in use

I also do this but sometimes the car doesn't quickly connect to the WIFI so you have to wait a bit ...
