Just got the letter that my request for MODEL3 was approved.

Edit - it'll look funny on my Mini for the next 18 months or so, but hey...

It is still way too early as the car is over 2 years away, but I am watching to see if anyone takes COAL PWR in my state. The problem is that I could be in a completely different state as I will relocate in about a year.

Massachusetts here - my order is in for TESLA3 - It's going to be stuck on a Chevy Trailblazer for a a couple of years.

In Massachusetts, you can get electric vehicle plates that are EVxxxxx, but you are allowed to put vanity plates on them instead. The only other odd rule is that numbers are only allowed at the end of the plate, so no T3SLA in Mass.

Seems Manitoba has pluses and minuses.
Minus: no online lookup, can only find out if something is taken by trying to order. (first choice, second choice, third choice)
Plus: you can gift the plate, so if I have someone 'gift' it to me, I can take my time putting it on a car.
