Model 3 AP hardware 3.0 VIN range?

Hello everyone,

I am about to pull the trigger on a SR+ and was wondering if we know at what VIN they started installing them.

I know if I do a custom order, Tesla will try to push an inventory model on me. This is fine.....as long as it has HW3 installed.

There remains no reason to prefer HW3- if you buy FSD you'll get HW3 either way, if you don't then you don't need it... (and in fact HW3 is worse than 2.5 right now- being stuck on an older, less capable, version of firmware at the moment)

That said- Tesla doesn't do their VINs perfectly sequentially, so there's likely no useful answer to your question.

Current assigned VIN's seem to be from the 100K to the 400K. So VIN's won't tell you.
