+1 for this “problem”
2500 miles just replace my first windshield after a chip that couldn’t be patched (too close to edge) became a crack.

3 pits on my new windshield already, only 70 miles! (Round trip SF to Fremont)

What brand windshield protection film did you have installed?
Feedback and advice for those of us considering?

I got it installed as part of a package with PPF. I believe the windshield film used was Bray. It’s the 2 layer one.

Does anybody know if a glass repair kit can fill small rock pits in my windshield? Glass is not cracked, just gouged slightly.

Dry places and mountains have more stuff on the roads. There's no rain to wash it off and, of course, in the mountains more rocks come down unto the roads from above. If I were to guess, I'd think tropical places probably have the least amount of rocks on the road.
