For the sake of $1000 I wouldn't cancel it. But that's just me. Weather is becoming so nice, we are heading into the summer. Perfect time for a new set of wheels.VIN Received today for our Black/White after rejecting first delivery in Q1.
Still trying to get the price reduced back to the Q1 price, our first agreement had it, then our 2nd agreement had it but they matched a VIN to our account that didn't match our order, when they reverted the change to our order the price went up $1000.... The saga continues and I'm on the edge of giving up and canceling the order.
We already have a Blue/White that was delivered in early March. For the sake of $1000 I wouldn't cancel it. But that's just me. Weather is becoming so nice, we are heading into the summer. Perfect time for a new set of wheels.
How bad was the first experience if you don't mind me asking??We already have a Blue/White that was delivered in early March.
After what we have gone through for this 2nd car, I won't pay a dime more than our first two Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreements stated. This is a true case of the customer service and product quality being far below the final product.
Only a couple of minor alignment issues on our first car, it went as expected and we love the car.How bad was the first experience if you don't mind me asking??
It's unfortunate at an individual level, but with demand for vehicles exceeding supply, Tesla doesn't really care if someone cancels and order and buys another car. The next person in line will buy that Tesla and they'll get their money anyways.End of March Tesla Rep found an acceptable car in inventory, sent me the URL, and I immediately ordered it while she was on the phone (thinking that I would get it quickly, being in-inventory). So, paperwork completed, delivery dates showed June. Huh? I was then told that "my" vehicle had been sold. But, I could change anything and it wouldn't set back my place in line & it would certainly be here by May something, so i changed interior to black from white. Order date is now Apr 7 ... and I have never seen any estimated delivery window dates. Contacted Telsa over the weekend & rep also was not able to see estimated Delivery dates for my order. He also was unable to see when my trade-in offer expires ... he would have my Delivery Specialist contact me.
Crickets.
Really hate to say it, but I am not having a good experience with Tesla so far. Especially considering that I can probably go pick out a Jeep or an Audi and drive it home tomorrow. Ten acres of land is kind of appealing as well. Don't get me wrong, I'd like the car, especially for when my family arrives from around the country to attend my daughter's graduation the beginning of June. Going to have to think about this one.
Pennsylvania, Apr 7, AWD, Blue, 19", Black interior (Also have a Cybertruck on order)
Not certain that I was clear. The order was not canceled by me.It's unfortunate at an individual level, but with demand for vehicles exceeding supply, Tesla doesn't really care if someone cancels and order and buys another car. i just want u to know, that you are not alone.I am not going to bother checking anymore.... Too much torture as it moved back to May 30th- June 19th. It can't make up its mind.
( Ok I will still be checking, I have an addiction heh)
but i bet you're ecstatic i would love to be moved to the left by that amount of days! heheheh no matter if its accurate or not, it gives me the butterflies lol.Mine jumped from June 8-June 28 to May 11-31 now. I don't really think that's accurate though since even the local delivery centres are telling me late June is realistic.
dispatched my lexus two days and now riding the wifes suv. my body is ready... but tesla aint lolWent from May 24th/June 13th to May 23rd/June 12th. So crazy how it changes at least 3-4 times a week. I am trying to determine the best time to sell my car. I hope they don't just all of a sudden call me and say BAM its in haha. I need the $$$ from my car to put down as part of my deposit.
lol same. It almost seems like there is a psychological component to the dates moving. It makes me desire the car even more...I am not going to bother checking anymore.... Too much torture as it moved back to May 30th- June 19th. It can't make up its mind.

Received my VIN yesterday (4/26). Current estimated delivery is May 7th - May 13th. Sill waiting on Tesla to contact us about the official delivery date.I ordered a LR AWD white with white interior and 18" wheels on 1/30. Had my order on hold till 4/12. No VIN as of right now.
I've watch my estimated delivery date fluctuate from [May 24 - June 13] to as early as [May 3 - May 17]. Currently it is [May 25 - June 14].
I'm beginning to think that black interiors are receiving their VINs first and getting earlier delivery dates. Any one else have that hunch?
My friend ordered Red with black interior on 4/6 and had a VIN assigned yesterday with a delivery estimate of [May 2 - May 8].
Really hope I recieve a VIN soon and my dates get moved up again. Hoping to take our new Tesla on a road trip memorial day weekend.
