Has anybody’s funds been withdrawn from their bank account last night? I am a little pissed that my funds were withdrawn last night expecting delivery today. Now, I have paid for a car that I don’t get for three more days.
Has anyone taken home delivery and if so how did you handle service for panel gaps and other defects?
After getting this I received a separate text from the delivery team. They asked me to pick a 2 hour window for home delivery. They arrived within that window. Signed maybe 5-6 forms and they took off.I keep refreshing my account page in fear my EDD will change from

Congrats! Glad to see some success today.Just took delivery! No glaring panel gaps, dirt, or any issues with paint. Only thing I'm going to have them take a look at is the charging port cover which is slightly not flush with the rest of the panel.
For those just following: I ordered my white on black M3 with 19" wheels on 6/3. My EDD was generally always for end of June.

You will get free supercharger miles from Tesla when pigs flyThis is my fear - I am also out of town... If you complain I wonder if you could at least get free supercharging miles or something?
UPDATE: A new VIN just showed up!!
yeah thats what I thought. I message the service adviser back through the app and asked if I need to schedule something in the shop and they replied with "minor adjustments can be made at your home" so I guess we shall see lol.I assume just like they do for Texas deliveries. Remember in Texas, you've already bought the car. You have 100 miles for delivery related issues. I just scheduled mine today, but the Pond Springs SC doesn't have a date until August.
It was originally scheduled for home service (next week), but was rescheduled because it's not something they could fix at my house.
How does this even happen?Spent years trying to convince anyone that'd listen how awesome the M3 is...a friend recently decided to purchase an M3 LR AWD, made final payment and has a VIN...delivery date today, and today was told his car's been sold to someone else. Now expecting a delivery date sometime in September. Love my Tesla but hot damn please fix your communication issues with the delivery specialists. Buddy is really upset...fuming is more like it...
Did you have EyeSight on the Outback? I was really impressed with how that worked. I am very curious to see how Teslas system compares. I did not have the lane assist in the Outback though as my EyeSight was an older version.I'm coming from an Outback too haha
Dude I am so sorry to hear that. At least your day is close and I hope it comes tomorrow! A lot of cars have been coming in great shape to so hopefully you will be good on fit and finish too.ARGHHH!!! I think I jinxed myself! Just got a call from the SC. My car never got loaded onto the delivery truck so they are pushing my delivery to "hopefully tomorrow." Are you KIDDING ME??? So frustrating!
what's maddening is there's no one in Tesla management to complain to. It really seems like there's a huge lack of communication between the people that work at Tesla. I remember Elon saying he was proud that the software that tracks everything was made in-house...How does this even happen?
