I'm curious if anyone else has run in to this.

I ordered a M3LR back in the beginning of October, received the VIN in November with a delivery date of 11/22 from 1-3pm. Fairly short wait, everything was going as expected.
On 11/21 (day before delivery:mad:), I received a text saying the car didn't show up and the delivery date is being pushed back to 12/1 until further.

Since the SC here isn't great, I called Tesla the next day to gather more information. The lady said that USB-C PLUGS were never installed (which I heard has been happening) and they are working on fixing the problem before shipping.

I initiated a chat with Tesla the other day with a different question but also asked again about delivery. The person said there was never an issue with the vehicle and its currently on a train with a 11/28 delivery date.

Today I started another chat with Tesla and was told he doesn't have access to that information but the car may still be in assembly and has a December delivery date.

What in the world is going on?
I've already paid the down payment, sold my car, and am paying insurance on a vehicle that I don't own and may not exist.

I completely understand that delivery dates move around and that's to be expected. But when a date/time was set up and now I'm getting a different answer from everyone... That's unacceptable.

Has anyone experienced this?

Received yet another text from SC yesterday. Instead of 12/1 its now 12/6 as the car has still yet to arrive. This time I'm being told its due to truck availability issues whereas last time I was told it was due to USB-C issues, then was told those were fine and it was on a train... What gives?

This wouldn't be as big of a deal except they already made me get insurance and pay the down payment ahead of the original 11/22 delivery date.

Amazing, I don’t even need to put order on hold, Tesla with its delivery time will do the job…

Can’t believe…
That’s messed up. I expect the same to happen to me next week. I’m at EDD of 12/7-12/31 with OD 8/15.

Can’t believe…
I wonder if it's the white interior or the wheels? It seems there's plenty of people who ordered after you and already received theirs.

First update to expected delivery, not for the better. Told my SA I couldn't accept a car any earlier than end of January. He said placing the order would put me in that time-frame and no sooner. Looks like he may have been quite wrong, and I may have to inevitably put the order on hold.

I'm in the same boat (also in FL), was scheduled for 12/3, moved to 12/6. Tesla says the car hasn't reached the pickup location yet (Tampa).

Nada. Glad to see there’s movement in Mt Kisco. When they move me out again, I’m going to order another car from a different location and see which comes first. 😎

Congrats! I drove by the Mt. Kisco location and they were loaded with cars. My Order date was 11/1 and now my EDD is this week! I suspect that I got moved up due to another customer putting their order on hold.

Picked it up yesterday afternoon. No panel gaps or paint issues at all. Only very minor issue is the right rear passenger door handle is ever so slightly more recessed than the other handles, but that was literally the only issue I could find. I am missing the front USB and induction charging, but they said they would contact me and come out in a few weeks to replace it.

Car drives like a dream.

Nope. Haven’t even seen my EDD window narrow at all. if this works like the last three windows I had, next Sunday my window will move to February.
I’m afraid I’ve been trapped in the same black hole as you bro… 3rd edd change this morning. 2 days out from start of window and they kicked me back 2 weeks. I’m going nuts and your order is almost 2 months older than mine! I really can’t believe you don’t have a car yet…

I may cancel my order if this continues. I love the idea of Tesla but if their customer service is going to be as awful for owners as it is for orders I don’t want the car. My local shop (Santa Barbara CA) gives me only one word responses when I call them. My SA has never responded to texts or emails, including a request for a new SA. When I called corporate last week to talk about scheduling delivery and my holiday travel plans I was told my order was on track for my old edd (12/1-12/15 so I was okay to order my tickets. Now my EDD is 12-14-12/31 and I’ll be out of state half that time.

When I bought my BMW i3 a few years ago I got regular texts and calls from my dealer, they worked with me on pricing, and they gave me 2 YEARS of free charging at EVGO.

Does anyone have an actual positive experience with Tesla service? Anyone else in SB have experience at our god awful service center? I drove past the Camarillo center on Thanksgiving and saw cars on the lot… maybe I should put in a second order there and see if they fill it more quickly
