Model 3 rear seat comfort for adults on long journey.

The important part was "him sitting in the seat behind my wife". She's 5'6 My other son is 12. so on the rare occasions we have 4 in the car it's perfectly comfortable, at least until we need a leg stretch and charge.

Fair enough, misread that bit lol. I’m 6’2 and honestly wouldn’t want to be in the back of a M3 for very long. The headroom is a bit too tight for my liking, no matter who I‘d be behind

I'm a shorty but I would say that people over 6'2 should have an automatic right to front seat travel in any car! My mate is 6'6 and managed OK in the front seats ... but we don't even dream of suggesting he ever sits in a rear seat!

We had four in a Mini Marcos once. I was one of the rear passengers. Anything for a lift to the pub, but I wouldn't recommend it. Much easier when your young and flexible though.

The Y seats are higher off the floor so the position is better ... in theory.

And in practice. The M3 seats are okay for round town. Can't see myself sitting for road trips in the back seats. Very uncomfortable.
