Same here, would be welcome news if it were true …

I'm hoping it comes forward too but reading articles about them stopping model 3 production for 3 weeks again doesn't fill me with confidence...

When did you order? i ordered back in January and my EDD is still saying Nov/Dec

I’m not holding any hope for an earlier date. 99% of people I have spoke to with a RWD on order has an EDD of November -December currently. Including myself… I think unless something magical happens and they get a boat full here for Q3 then it looks like we are all getting our teslas as a Christmas present

I noticed in the UK 2022 Orders to Delivery General Discussion thread that someone picked up a Red M3 RWD last Friday, that gives me some hope as i was under the impression they stopped making them to focus on model Y's.

I'm wondering how long the back log is going to be for RWD orders seeing as they delivered virtually none in Q2 and by the looks of it will be none in Q3.

Delays with only RWD make me believe that they would prefer to get as many orders switched over to Y’s or more expensive M3’s as possible.

To confirm, I’m the guy that posted about the red RWD M3, got mine Friday. When you say RWD you all mean the standard basic level rear wheel drive model 3 right?
