Just had a call from Tesla. Cancellation from today RWD, MSM, Aeros which I have happily agreed to take of their hands! Need to collect by tomorrow 😀

Who knows! There's quite a few of us that ordered in January and onwards hoping for Q4 deliveries. I cant think of any excuse not to fulfil our orders apart from shipping issues as there's clearly no shortage of parts given the China wait times.

1 - 8 week delivery for M3 RWD in China, wish we were that lucky 😂 just goes to show they're not struggling with parts or production.

I've looked about and test driven a few cars but there's nothing that has really won me over apart from the teslas. I really like the look of the fisker ocean but not sure I'd want to buy one until I've seen how they fare once producing to scale.

At this point I'm happy to take anything and travel anywhere in the UK!

I called them up a while ago and asked about cancellations. They asked if im happy to travel and open to different specs and said they'd put me on a most if any come up. I havent heard since though but other people have turned down cars I probably would have bought which is frustrating!

I put my name down for cancellations too as I'm happy to swap colours etc but I never seem to get any calls from Tesla 😒

Hopefully we see a lot arrive in November. We've been waiting so long we're all pretty stuck now, especially if they increase the prices with the pound/dollar rates

Interesting im surprised at that, I wouldnt mind paying extra for a change of colour as long as they would honour thr original interest rates.

The mrs has just had 3 points and a fine for speeding in the post today so looks like I'll be banning her from the Tesla and taking her off my insurance 😂

I got a quote with admiral multicar for a rough idea how much it would cost....for our little smart car and the Model3 would be 400 which I'm pleased with! Hopefully its still the same when the car actually arrives

My EDD has narrowed slightly and I'm now showing Nov 8 - Dec 15. Hopefully it arrives towards the front of the EDD

I think anyone doing significant mileage in their tesla will likely move to the Octopus Go or Intelligent tariff for the cheap overnight charging. I think charging the car from 0-100 on my current tariff on the night rate would be £4.50, whereas to fill our tiny tank on the smart car costs...

No change in mine either. I dont anticipate were going to see any changes until October onwards....hopefully we get our deliveries start/mid November. I've toyed with choosing a different car but I keep coming back to the Tesla...(or the Audi Etron GT but the Mrs has already told me no to...

Looking at Troy Teslikes estimates Q3 is another poor quarter for Europe. The estimated figures for Q4 show its clearly where theyre planning on catching up

I've left the gas on the variable tariff for now. I did consider fixing that too but the rate was a bit high for me to be tempted

My fixed tariff was due to come to an end with Eon at the start of September. I think it was around 18p for electric and 3p for gas. I called up Octopus who put me on the flexible tariff to join then as soon as that went through I swapped to octopus go and fixed electric for the year at 38p peak...

Maybe that's why we've not seen many RWD in the last 6 months...they're saving all the LFP batteries for the Y RWD 🤔

Given how poor the deliveries have been to the UK especially RWD I wouldnt be surprised if there are more delays.

My EDD only changed to September 9 days ago. I'm not sure what's changed between then and now to push all our EDDs back. All I can imagine is that there has been some poor logistical planning and they've decided to send more ships to Europe at the cost of the UK...again. I wonder what excuses...

Would they just leave them sitting at the port for that 4-6weeks? Elon needs to give up with this pointless end of quarter push and just have a constant flow of ships to Europe. I'll be interested to see if the Q3 delivery figures are as poor as Q2

I cant imagine they will leave the car sitting there for months so where will they end up? The RHD market is kind of limited

I'll keep my eye on the EDD but my optimism has now disappeared given there are very few ships that they could be on. I'd be interested to know where all the UK RWD are going. Looking on the LR forums it appears they have seen similar EDD changes. Maybe more ships full of Ys 😂

Just as I checked the app my EDD has gone to Nov 15th to Jan 9th. Appears that Tesla don't have a f***ing clue what they're doing. Not quite sure how they can get it so wrong...

I dont understand the logic of changing our EDDs if there are no more ships with our cars enroute. Surely Tesla know well in advance what ships they have booked, the exact cars going on those ships and their destinations to avoid pointlessly bringing EDDs forward.

Yeah it seems like it's only the direct orders through tesla that have seen any movement so far

Yeah Glovis Sun is only 5 days behind so if it is also bound for the UK the EDDs are going to be very similar and we would likely to get some VINs as it approaches Singapore

If Glovis Sun is destined for the UK then I feel that our cars are more likely to be on this ship which is still docked at Shanghai given all of our EDDs are late September. So i wouldnt worry too much yet

A lot of us with RWD orders have had our EDDs changed to around 23-30th September. It appears we have all ordered direct through Tesla rather than being lease orders

It's looking like everyone who has had their EDDs moved forward has ordered directly through Tesla and not lease companies which might be why you haven't seen an EDD change

Seems like the majority of EDD updates have been for the standard spec car and not the various colours/white interior

I'm slightly more optimistic on this occasion but I won't be selling my current car until I get that vin and delivery date 100% confirmed 😂. In the next 2-3 weeks we should hopefully see some vins

I cant see any details of the next UK bound ship that would fit our EDDs on the shipping thread. I assume it would have to leave in the next week or so to make it in time?
