RWD is definitely coming this quarter. Some of us have been contacted by Tesla about delivery dates in August.

Octopus told me right back at the start that I would always get delivery unless Tesla had a last minute hoop to jump through such as collection from the docks on the last day of the quarter!

So I replied with my address and then had another confirmation text confirming everything and with a link to online tutorials about the car. Does anyone know which ship this is likely to be arriving on then considering the delivery dates of circa 26th August?

Was told by Octopus "September" previously. Lease orders don't show on Tesla accounts unfortunately until after you get the car.

Worth pointing out that Octopus told me this bulk order for RWD was placed in October, so could just be that this is the start of clearing the backlog. My fingers are crossed for you.

Thanks. Obviously I'm pleased that the wait is coming to an end for me, but also glad to be able to provide some hope to others that RWD are on their way to the UK.

Previous quarters yes, long range and performance were delivered but not RWD. I am specifically talking about the RWD variant.

I believe they placed the order first for various colour RWD all with black interiors and Aeros and then customers were allocated one from that order afterwards. There wasnt much choice left by the time I put my name down!

I'm awaiting a RWD from part of a large order my lease company made in October 2021.

I believe the factory is now producing M3 only whilst the MY production line is closed for upgrades. Fingers crossed they make a few RWD!

Has anyone seen any changes with their RWD EDD? I've seen people on FB awaiting a M3P who now have a very tight range of 21st-30th September.

Take any EDD with a pinch of salt until you've got a vin number. Nothing confusing about it.

I've just asked Tesla via the live chat about my RN number and they've said that "I can see that we could be looking at possibly September as an estimate". I'm keeping everything crossed that this indicates Q3 shipments to the UK.

This was filmed 3 days ago, I'd love to be proven wrong but I can't see a single M3 in that car park!

I've asked Octopus to tell me what their next update from Tesla is showing, I believe they get sent a spreadsheet every couple of weeks with outstanding order EDDs. Will let you know what they say as I believe they (and other lease companies) have large pre-ordered RWD orders outstanding.

Is Dublin supplied from a UK shipment and not mainland Europe?
