If this guy had had the aero wheel covers (seems to have 19s), they would have popped off for sure!

I’ve heard the aero wheel covers will pop off in large puddles, but that may or may not be true...

FWIW, this just happened to me, driving through a puddle. This familiar area is super flat, so I was surprised by the depth of the water. Kudos to the Model 3 for making it through, when a BMW later stalled in the same spot. Now, excuse me while I get some sleep. I have to get up early and look for my aero wheel cover at sunrise.

Good to know it is true! Sadly it will not help with my disagrees on the earlier post.

Sometimes people just like to be disagreeable I guess.

Might want to check the underside covers tomorrow as well.
