Please make the windshield wipers not able to move when driver door is open. I get into my car from going somewhere and wipers soak me and before I can get in and close the door to the car. Model 3 owner. Love this car though. Amazing on all fronts.

Is someone waiting in the car when this happens? I’ve never had the wipers do anything until I’m in the car.

Yeah never experienced this. Also if its raining(only reason why auto wipers would be running) you are probably already getting wet by the rain while getting in or out LoL

Happens to me every morning when there is due on the window and I get in the car and touch the brake pedal. The wipers come on and all the water on the driver side of the window come into the car. I try to remember to close the door but it's early in the morning

Btw in my M3 the wipers just don't work when I expect them and with the frequency I expect them to, so mine is always on manual i.e. Auto Wiper is off.
