I was able to test drive it last weekend. What I notice is a slight lag on the interface. Is that normal?

The browser is quite terrible, the car controls should work fairly smooth.

On the Custer road trip I experienced at one time quite a sluggishness. Rebooted the screen and all was well again. Sounds to me like some software buffer was full.

Tegra3 is underpowered when it is asked to do lots of things at once. For example, navigation of a trip coupled with a decent sized playlist causes frame drops on center console (not buttery smooth anymore), and request for controls screen has a noticeable lag when pressed.
