We recently replaced the base audio speakers with BA Design ones. Look at these, not even sort $5.00 each.
Yeah, the factory UHFS are not much better! Can you tell us which model and spec drivers you used? Are you using the factory amp to drive them?
I used their top model. And yes, just used the stock amp. The speakers are very easy to replace. Just 4 bolts and reconnect the wires.
Yes the OEM driver cones are barely stiffer than tissue paper and the 'magnets' are amazingly insubstantial. it's a worthwhile upgrade
