How do I adjust the small front triangle window?

I had a mobile ranger do it when I had yet another door handle actuator replaced, he had the door pulled apart and I remembered about the small window, so I asked him. It's now silent

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

Tesla has restored my voltage but has crippled my charge rate at Superchargers. This has a far greater impact for me personally as, when not in lockdown) I Supercharge regularly in my weekly 330km commute. It takes me an hour to Supercharge from 20-80%

    New 85kWH battery for my 2013 P85+

Yes, they did. Myrtleford would have provided the same benefits but with greater amenity. I think that the suggestion is that we can arrive at a far better outcome for everyone by avoiding confrontation at this stage - make diplomacy, not war! I provided some information as back story, not with...

Ovens site management encouraging ICEing of Supercharger stalls

I've just seen this thread, Ovens is my local supercharger, not that I use it much as I'm charge rate limited to about 40-50kW/hr on superchargers. The Happy Valley Hotel changed hands around this time last year. The previous owner had installed rooftop solar, reed bed sewerage systems and had...

If you fast charge, Tesla will permanently throttle charging

Good grief, it takes about an hour (60 minutes) to add 40kW of power to my car. It took about an hour before the update, it still takes about an hour despite a brief increase in the maximum charging rate.
  18. doctorwho

If you fast charge, Tesla will permanently throttle charging

Sorry, i wasn't clear, before the update, I had a 'peak' charge rate of 70kW/hr before it settled to 50kW/hr. How I have a peak of 90kW/hr for a minute, before it settles to 50kW/hr.

If you fast charge, Tesla will permanently throttle charging

I've had the same experience. My 7 hour round trip between Melbourne and northeast Victoria (that I do at least weekly) has gone from 7.5 hours with a supercharge stop to 9 hours. Since the update, my max charge rate has increased from a max of 75kW/hr (for a minute at 20%) to around 95kW/hr for...

State based EV road user charge (Overturned 18/10/23)

I don't mind paying a reasonable charge that: is part of an overhauled system that replaces fuel excise and registration, and applies to all vehicles doesn't penalise EVs early in their market acceptance that puts a brake a sales. this will happen if it's applied now is a part of a taxing...

State based EV road user charge (Overturned 18/10/23)

Its low hanging political fruit. EV owner numbers are small so there won't be much backlash. Combine it with hints of 'elite owners' avoiding paying their share of tax and it becomes a political winner with heaps of potential future revenue growth if EV sales ever take off here (I doubt it now)

And I had to wait for 2 months for that - a battery with the same potential problems as my old one, and it has less range than my original before they crippled it. Poor form from Tesla. Is it a B revision battery as a 2013 era battery, older than my car?

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

It's pretty poor that they made me wait 2 months to replace my battery with an older generation battery with only 360km range at 100% when my pre-battery-gate battery was giving a steady 357km after 4 years.

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

Yep, it looks like a B version battery, just as likely to be battery-gated as the newer battery they replaced it with. Disappointing that they make me wait 2 months to replace it with a 7 year old battery, with presumably, the same chemistry, and maybe a good deal of Li plating or dendrites

OK, the new battery has arrived and has been fitted. I've attached a photo of the Receipt, can anyone tell what sort of battery replacement I've got? All Tesla would tell me is that it's a "new battery matched to my existing vehicle configuration and advertised range suitable for 85kWh"
