Model S: Clever Vanity Plates

Mine is California NO PTRL

After almost 2 months of waiting, the CA DMV sent me a letter saying that my plate request (K1X GAS) had been rejected on the grounds that numbers should not be used in place of letters and vice versa. I see that all the time. Furthermore, how can it possibly take 2 months to figure this out?

Back to the drawing board.

It probably depends on what you wrote in the description section. If you said that the '1' stands for 'I' then you might have a problem. Good luck.

My (idealistic and esoteric) choice; inspired by a White S owner I saw at Panda Express on Mira Mesa Blvd before picking up mine (thank you). His plates read 'P IS VXI', that one took me a few minutes to figure out, but them the 'power is voltage times current' dawned on me...
