I've recently read that Model 3 heaters capture heat from multiple sources, most importantly, the inverter, which I believe produce a good deal of heat. Does the Model S have this advantage? Do either of them use the AC as a heat pump for heating?
Modell S have two circuits for heating/cooling that can be isolated, think of figure eight.
It can get heat from inverter/motor/battery to heat cabin, or the other combinations between those components, but no heat pump.
