Tesla’s new flagship vehicle – the Model S Plaid – will be delivered to early owners tonight at an event at the company’s Fremont, Calif. factory.
The event will be livestreamed by Tesla starting at 7 p.m. PT, but announcements are not expected until 8:30 p.m. PT.

The sedan is expected to have a range of about 390 miles, a top speed of about 200 mph, and a 0–60 mph time under 2 seconds. The car will also receive interior improvements like a new horizontal screen and yolk-type steering wheel.
The price of the vehicle increased Thursday by $10,000, now coming in at $131,190.
Tesla announced plans this week to cancel the Model S Plaid+, an even speedier version of the super-fast flagship for the electric vehicle company. Chief Executive Elon Musk said there’s “no need” because “Plaid is just so good.”
