Model S Trailer Hitch

I'd like to have a trailer hitch installed on my 2017 S. Does anyone know where to buy it and/or where to have it installed in GTA? I don't mind driving out of GTA to get this done. Thanks

Not advised, the ones that were installed for bike racks or other and never towing, caused real problems with rusting of the hitch and galvanic corrosion to the car. I think its also a warranty void kinda issue also you may want to drop the idea altogether. Sorry as I want to carry a bike or two sometimes outside the car myself.

I just had this one installed on my 2017 S 75D. (I’m in Ottawa so the installer probably doesn’t help you much).

It is true that the early ones did have some issues with galvanic corrosion, but they’ve taken precautions to prevent that with later iterations of the hitch and installation guidelines.
Yes towing isn’t recommend, but it’s fine for a bike rack or utility rack.

I prefer to put my bikes on the roof rack as it doesn't block access to the trunk. Also, the aerodynamics of the car makes hitch-mounted bikes very dirty if you're ever driving on unpaved roads.
