So I charged my car as usual to 80% this morning which gives me 207 miles rated range on the display just like every other morning. At the end of my commute of 36 miles I am usually at 290 wh/mile which would consume around 38 miles - 2 miles more - which is in par for a rated consumption average of 280 wh/mile. Sometimes I am at 300wh/mile and I would have consumed 3 or 4 miles over. And sometimes I am quite efficient at 270wh/mile and I would have consumed a mile or two less. So far so good.
This morning I noticed my efficiency was just about 300wh/mile but I consumed 1 mile less - only 35 miles consumed for 36mile commute. Thought it was anamoly but got better on the way back. 295wh/mile efficiency but consumed 2 miles less.
And then I noticed my energy graph was different today. Look at the rated line:
