Model y long rang verses performance model y

Trading in my wife’s 2021 long range model y for a performance model y mainly because we’re getting more for our model y than what we paid for it. I wanted another long range but didn’t want to wait that long. Question; is the ride going to be so harsh where she can tell a difference. I hope this wasn’t a mistake

You can put 18” wheels with tires that have lots of sidewall to mitigate. A few persons of advanced age & had sensitive spines did this and were pleased.
I have a 2022 MYP on 21” wheels. I have taken 4 long road trips with wife & 2 teen daughters. No complaints about comfort. The car had much more rumble from tires during first 5,000 miles. Probably tires getting broken in.
I am not really considering redwood motor sports coil overs. Maybe I’ll get 18” wheels for next road trip since they offer more protection from blowouts.
