Model Y rear defroster issues

The rear defroster does not appear to be working. Havent had to use it before now. It does nothing. Any suggestions

If you’re sure it’s not working either via the app or the cars screen then put in a service request. It would be covered under warranty. Maybe check the manual to make sure it’s not working the way the manual explains it.

I had same problem. Did a service appt and it was faulty so they replaced it

Same here, just tried using mine for the first time today and it did not work. Have scheduled with SC.

Mine works great but the factory forgot to install the third brake light bar

Well I just tried my rear defrost out for the first time today after getting some snow while at the gym - doesn't appear to be working. Didn't clear any fog / snow after sitting in the parking lot and a 10 minute drive home. Also tried turning it on and off with everything else turned off and couldn't hear or feel anything happening in the tailgate. Called customer support and they ran me through some suggestions but no dice. Service appointment scheduled but definitely frustrating since the soonest one is a week+ out.
