I have done 41000km on my factory fitted 19” Hankook tyres. Got cost of $140 from Tesla to rotate while local tyre shop quoted $70 incl wheel balance. No response from Tesla when I asked why cost jumped from $55 in Feb at 30000km rotation.
Looking at moving to Hankook ion Evo at around $500 ea - anyone tried this new quiet tyre?

Tesla charge this inflated amount to make it worth their time. They don’t really want to do such things. Just take it to a normal local place for rotation and buying new tyres.

Tesla Brisbane mobile service charged me $71.28 in May'23 for rear to front. In January '24 side to side cost $100.98 (2 jacks). At those prices it wasn't worth me taking the time needed to use a local tyre place - but at $140 it would tempt me greatly.

I got the Hankook Ion Evos two months ago. They are much quieter and seemingly a smoother ride than the Pirellis. Not cheap, but we're very happy with them.
