Movie Night Settings

The wife and I are planning to get take out and watch a movie in our M3 (a night away from the kids 2020 style). What setting should we use to make sure we are pulling from the main battery and not the 12V?

The MCU runs off the 12V system and the 12V system charges off the main battery pack. So everything runs off the main battery pack.

I guess I am just used to ICE vehicles whereby you can run down the battery if using the radio/infotainment center for a prolonged period of time without the engine running. Would this not be an issue if I simply put the M3 in park?

No, as long as you main battery is not at near 0% it will charge the 12V battery. If it is at 0% you have MUCH bigger problems than Netflix not working.

if i remember correctly sub 5% the aux battery does not get charged.

The 2 things running of the HV battery are the heater and the AC.
