Mt.Kisco, NY delivery: Do they take a personal check?

I'm a bit fearful of pre-paying for my Model 3 online prior to delivery. Friends of mine have paid by personal check on Long Island. How have you paid for delivery at Mt. Kisco, NY?

Did you try calling them? Posts on this forum have said their local SC took checks.

Be the hero we need and call them to find out for us

The first MR delivery on this forum said their local SC took a CC with 5K max. Given that, I'd pay with a CC over check to maximize points (if that's your thing).

This is funny. Almost. I called and was put through to the finance person. He had no idea what I was talking about, i.e. didn't even know they were the delivery point for Tesla. "I'm the new guy here." Said it was corporate policy to take a personal check up to 5k. Tesla would be no different. Bring Bank Check for such a large amount.

Wow, that is funny indeed. Puts a noob in charge of finance and can't even answer a basic question. Hope to take delivery at Mt. Kisco of my MR before 12/31 so it's good to have all this info up front.
