What are people using for sunglasses storage? There isn't a good place in the center to store glasses (they shoot out of that little cubby below the display every time you hit the gas), and those two cup holders take up all the space in the center console.

I bought a clip that hangs from the sun visor, but the roof line is so low that they are actually in my line of vision hanging there so that isn't a great location either.

Old thread, but fantastic ideas throughout--thanks to all who have posted! I just got my 2020 MS LR+, her name is Mimi. We're still finding our way for what extras we want/need.

Center console insert:

Due to the older nature of this thread, most folks were posting entire console ideas; my 2020 came with the console, of course. The stock "cup holder" dividers in there are useless, but there is a lot of space--cavernous, really--once those are removed, but it's way too deep for minor pen, keys, paper, whatever. Voila, this holder provides a couple of usable cup holders (12 oz can-sized, you can't put a big gulp in there) along with a tray for pens, paper, etc., with a couple of stoppers that let the cover slide most of the way closed (leaving the cupholders accessible) or all the way open or closed. Lifts right out for larger or longer-term storage items below.

If you have the HPWC, or if you're going to permanently install the UMC, I'd highly recommend one of these, to hold the coiled cable:

If you're installing into drywall, though, you may want to use something other than the included screws. I initially used those, and tried to be gentle with the cable, but the screws pulled out of the drywall anyway.

I originally bought those just to hang all the extension cords I have, but it is a must have for the UMC or HPWC as well...lol

If found these "Gecko's Toes" work absolutely great for cord management! Designed for garden hoses (they make a version for electrical cords, but too thin IMO for the wall connector), they're the perfect size:

A must-have accessory for roadtrips in the summer with teenage kids in the back seats: USB mouse so they can control the music on the screen.

the USB mouse thing controlling the screen is pretty crazy!!!!

what other USB uses are there? play music, can it read data files lol?

I just tried, but I can't get my car (2020 MS LR+) to recognize the mouse. Is there a trick, or a specific type/brand to use...?

Or, maybe, this functionality has been lost since this was posted...?
