We'd like to introduce a classic mesh 22" wheel design the MX117 22x9.0" 22x10.0" inspired by our Model S TS117 wheel.

The MX117 weighs about 25% lighter than a factory 22" Turbine. You can use original Tesla center caps, original lug nuts, original tire pressure sensors and original 22" factory tires.

Does the weight reduction have a positive effect on range? (or is the range just related to aerodynamics?) Us 75D owners living in cold climates cant afford a range loss and are relegated to 20" wheels... ? Any folks with these tires done any wh/mile comparisons?

I have read about folks only losing ~ 5% with lighter wheels vs. the ~ 15% the OEM 22's cause. So, yes. A very large part of the range reduction with big wheels is due to the weight.
