My Model Y hit by fireworks

I went to the Hollywood Bowl for the July 4th Beach Boys show. I valet parked and the spot was close to the where the fireworks were going off. I received a push alert on my phone that my alarm went off. After the show I went to leave and noticed that there were marks all over my car (photo attached). I am assuming a firework hit my car. I tried soap and water to remove but that did not work too well. Also tried Invisible Glass but didn't work well either. The marks feel raised so thinking the glass was not scratched. Before I try anything more harsh I wanted to see if there might be a solvent that would make the bond break and just wash off. I did reach out to the Hollywood Bowl to see if their pyrotechnics team might be able to help.

Thats brutal, hopefully the glass isn't etched from the high temps. The paint looked effed up as well. Keep us posted.

Honestly, looks like new glass and paint job. Hope they cover it, or at least your deductible isnt too high...

are you sure it was fireworks? Did you have Sentry running?

pretty sure. It went off twice and you can see big flashes. I should grab the videos off the SSD.

Well I would - and I'd watch the whole thing, not just the bit with the flashes. Maybe you'll see someone stodd next to the vahicle with a piece of sandpaper in their hand

Because I left the parking lot without telling them about the damage I apparently “waived all claims”. I took it to Burbank Auto Detail and they got it looking good as new. Clay bar I believe.
