This is so cool! I don't have access to a 3D printer. Any where I can buy it (this, not the 3D printer:smile?

I think the OP has a link to his page that also has pricing to have it printed. I saw it mentioned somewhere else that you could try your local library, UPS store or Kinko's if you don't have a 3D printer.

Hey, did you design the Supercharger in Geomagic Design? The photos on the website look like Design, unless all CAD programs look the same. :smile:

First try at lighting it up. Gonna thicken up the inside walls to not get that light bleed or try a SMD LED. Not bad for a first try. it looks better in person than in the iphone pic.

How long did it take to print all the pieces?

I printed high res so all in all about 10 hrs for everything

Cool. excited to see your findings. I think other than the light bleed I have it all figured out. Phone charges and lights up the tesla red. The translucent was too orangie so I went with normal red and I think it looks fine.

In regards to the light bleeding: why not paint the innerside of the white parts pitch black? That should stop most of the bleeding, shouldn't it?

Fixed. . actually easier than expected to contain it.

Didnt paint. I used some aluminum foil tape that they use in ductwork for HVAC. works great sticks well and is very thin.
