It’s live. Charged there today. Tesla lettering is not lit up on stall but they are active and it shows up on the map in the car.

Can anyone confirm if the Superchargers in Florida have remained open? My son is traveling from Georgia down to Tampa and the Superchargers on the East Coast of Florida as well as Ocala, Gainesville and Lake City are listed as Temporarily Closed on his center console. Same Temporarily Closed...

From July 1 to today, there have been 126 new Supercharger openings around the world. 10x greater than predicted above - no apparent slowdown. A Christmas miracle perhaps. ;) Still no movement seen in Old Lyme but Wtby opened about a week ago.

Green light should always be on. You can dial down the amps from the car as desired.

Tires and rims. I bought a second set when I bought winter tires. I don’t like the idea of removing the tire from the rim each year. Having two sets allows me to do things myself including rotations (need a spare wheel to rotate tires as I don’t like using jack stands.)

I don't believe the car senses an adapter unless you are using the Tesla adapters with the new Gen2 UMC. If you are just using a generic 14-50 to 14-30 adapter with the Tesla 14-50 plug, the car will attempt to draw 40A. Model 3 NEMA Adapters

just a suggestion - Get the car first and use the 30A line for awhile. You may find that the 30A circuit providing about 20 miles of range per hour of charge fills your needs. Of course, if not, you can then just rewire.

None of them were lit this evening so I’m not sure the rumor is accurate.

I’ve charged there before at full power getting 340mi/hr and 120kW. Admittedly, I haven’t charged there in awhile but I’d suspect cold temperatures impacting speed of charge more so than throttling. Just a guess.

Drove by the site today and the workers had dug the trench and were working on the conduits. No photos but at least there was progress. Charging will be behind the building at the back of the property.

I just brought my winter rims which were from my older 85 and had the TPMS changed as the new system doesn’t read the sensors from 2014. Tesla SC did the job in less than 1 hour and they charged me $70 per wheel plus $120 for labor for a total of $400 installed. Worth it IMHO.

That is not normal. I charge at below 0F without issue. Are you plugged in to a 50A circuit or supercharging? Call Tesla and they can remotely log into your car and see what is going on. Don’t wait until the battery is dead.

I have no desire to sell gasoline cars nor will I buy one. As I said in my original post, some folks will benefit from the longer range (i.e., those in very cold climates or folks taking frequent 200+ mile trips) but the larger population thinks they need it but will likely spend more money...
