NAV view question

I haven’t received my car yet but is there a way to use the NAV in another view like the 3D perspective mode that some cars offer as opposed to just the straight down aerial view that is shown typically?

Not on M3 that I know of. MS provides something like this in IC. You can go road vs satellite view, overview, north up or heading up view.

The Nav *is* shown in 3-D when you are navigating somewhere, but the off-vertical angle isn't very much, so at quick glance it doesn't look 3D. You can tell when you switch back and forth from "route overview" to "driving"

Yeah it's 3D and the camera zooms and orbits to straight-down when you approach a turn to make it easier to see the intersection details. But really the screen is so big you get massive coverage of roads ahead regardless of what the perspective is.
