On my commute yesterday, I've found that 48.12.1 is a little better about the space in front of you, and slightly better at accelerating in stop and go traffic.

I'm very glad to hear that. I'm going to do my test loop tomorrow, but I think I noticed that EAP without NoA was bouncing in its lane tonight in the rain more than it was. I can't tell if that was weather related or EAP related, so I clearly need to add that to my test criteria.
