Navigation UI - very bad markings for exits

Just drove 1K miles in past few days and found that the markings for HWY transitions and exits are small and illegible. Moreover, all that is displayed blends with map badground that overall provides terrible user experience.

It is really bad to drive during the night on unknown highways and trying to decipher what exit to take. Tesla - take a clue from OLD Garmin GPS units. The markings were large and very helpful.

Just returned from a 2K road trip. My exit marking are in BLACK and as otters have said kind of small.
