Question -- for new owners of the (2021) Model 3, what shows up as the range at 100%? Is it really 353 miles
as in the EPA rating, or is that a "paper" rating? Sure, we know it'll go down by 5 or 10% over time, but what is the
starting number? And, does the starting range differ by wheel size?

People really seem overly obsessed with the exact miles shown.
Do people ever try to track any petrol car to such accuracy?

Figure out your daily routine.
Figure the best charge range for your nightly plug ins.
Program your charging.

Drive and enjoy your car.

Plan a day ahead for when you need maximum range or figure out where to charge that day.

no, but people can get 700km out of their petrol tank and refuel it anywhere in 5min. So its perhaps not quite as important for them.

You don’t have to track a petrol car with much accuracy. If you get low on gas you pull over and get more. If you are a total bonehead and runout you go get or have someone bring you gas.
