New Car - No Cellular Data?

I picked up my 90D today (lets just say it's been a good day), anyhow it seems the cellular data isn't working.
The cell strength indicator shows nearly full for bars, but there is not LTE or 3G symbol.
Further, the browser can not access anything on the internet, nor can I connect to the car when it is off wifi.

I reset the screen in a random attempt to "reboot" it, but seems to have done nothing.
Ive called support tonight, but it seems i'm in a long queue for call back.

Anyone have any experience with this or know something I can try?

Thanks!

Has it worked even once? If no, it sounds like a provisioning problem with AT&T.

Just got off the phone with support, looks like a known issue and I had to reboot BOTH the dash and touchscreen .
instructions:

1. Unplug usb devices from the center console
2. Place your foot on the brake pedal and hold it down for the duration of the reboot
3. Press and hold both top buttons on the steering wheel for 15 seconds
4. Press and hold both scroll wheels on the steering wheel for 15 seconds
5. Wait a couple minutes for the system to reboot and vehicle to reconnect to the cellular towers

sure it's a bug soon to be squashed..

What is your firmware version? Did the Delivery Specialist not demonstrate the functionality to you before acceptance?

Hi folks, just got off the phone with the support center. The instructions should be amended as follows:

1. Unplug usb devices from the center console
2. Place your foot on the brake pedal and hold it down for the duration of the reboot
3. Press and hold both top buttons on the steering wheel for 15 seconds
4. Press and hold both scroll wheels on the steering wheel for 15 seconds,
5. When the screen begins to boot up, press and hold both scroll wheels on the steering wheel for 15 seconds AGAIN,
5. Wait a couple minutes for the system to reboot and vehicle to reconnect to the cellular towers

This issue was introduced with v6.2 V2.5.46 and we can expect an OTA update soon.

Nope, didn't work for my July 70D.

Fuse pull at Service Center fixed for now...

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Within 24 hours, LTE and all cellular communication ceased. Did my own Fuse #51 pull, it's working again. But for how long?

THANK YOU! I picked up my 90D yesterday, but never had any cellular service. This was not tested during the delivery, since we were connected to the Wi-Fi and everything was working properly. As soon as I drove out of the driveway, however…

I was on the phone with both the local service center and with Fremont. Neither of them told me about step number one. But these steps worked perfectly, and now I have cellular service for the first time!

Turn Wi-Fi off to test the LTE service!
