New Door Handles?

Looking at the new owners manual page 80, it suggests pressing on the innermost portion of the door handle to unfreeze a handle. My model 3 offers no 'give' when pushing in this area. Can a Model Y owner let us know what happens when pressing in this area? Thanks!

Update - I have since personally confirmed that the Y handles offer about a 1/16th of an inch of "give" in the area pointed to in the arrow when pressed. Should be enough to crack the ice if needed. My M3 offers no similar give, but I suspect putting a softer (foam instead of hard rubber) back stop in the M3 would offer the same experience.
