Actually the concept matches the new ELR.

That looks merely like a concept drawing; a real vehicle can never look like that for practical reasons such as visibility through the rear and appeal to more than car geeks. Exhibit A: how the Volt transformed from this to what it is today:

I agree the design doesn't look the best. Kind of sad to see how they are winding down. I didn't particularly like the Karma but think it would have been a great car for some people had it been well built (software mostly).

I'm going to go with a neutral stance and call it a terrifically polarizing design study, working to explore the possibilities of crossover design ethos.

I'm sure that it has a certain degree of popularity with people who do not have a real need for SUV/crossover practicality, much like the Urus does.

It's just plain fugly from every angle.

back in the day an automobile with a design like that lambo crossover suv was called a "car".
