New model s 75D first thoughts

hi folks had my model s now for 2 days.

On pickup I thought I didn't have powered lift gate or heated seats.but I did.
.i ordered cloth seats.but to my surprise they were half leather.better than I thought.
Went for a short drive and parked up .on way back to car a few hours later it was 3 degrees outside and bloody freezing..used the app to heat the cabin to 24 degrees before arriving at car..amazing nice and warm and toasty.
From low speed and at a standstill the acceleration is fantastic.no complaints.
Plugged in my first super charger .so easy and fast.

Only negative is I notice I lose about 7 miles of range overnight.should I turn battery preconditioning off?

I think your overnight range loss is typical. I wouldn't worry about it unless parking up for weeks without power.

I'm surprised you ordered without seeing the seats first! But sounds like it worked out well. Enjoy!

Smart preconditioning is not reliable. Your best bet is to do as you’ve done and use the app 5 mins before you’re due to leave. You may also find when it’s cold you’ll have limited regen and power, indicated by a dotted line on the power meter resulting in high consumption while the car warms up.
