New Model Y owner in LA

Hi folks!

I took delivery of a new Pearl White Model Y Performance with Performance Upgrade last week and stumbled upon this forum while searching for data points on the California CVRP and CAV decals.

I'm most looking forward to enjoying the car and all its tech, but not towards how often I might need to change the tires. A local tire shop was telling me he routinely sees Tesla owners needing to change sets within 10K miles! Given the contactless delivery, I also need to figure out how to submit defects and how long I have to do so.

Nonetheless, excited to join the Tesla family and learn more on this forum!

Congratulations! Enjoy your new Y. I may replace my 2014 Model S with a Y at some point in the future. I hope you get as much pleasure out of it as I have from my Model S.

Thanks! We considered a Model S a few years ago to take advantage of the federal rebate, but just couldn't pull the trigger. So far so good!

You were wise to wait for the Y! Should get the benefit of several years of design improvement compared with the 3. Though that is somewhat mitigated against getting an early build Y.
