New MY has 15 miles on the car. Is this acceptable?

How many miles should a new 2023 MY have? I seen some people received the car with 2-5miles but others 15 miles. Does that mean someone test drove the car?

Unless you have actually picked up the car, dont assume the amount of miles on the paperwork is whats actually on the car.

I went by what the advisor said based on the vin and that it was not a reject car. They also told me it did not have matrix headlights. I guess I will find out exactly in a few days. thanks!

I will repeat, "dont assume whats on the paperwork is the amount of miles you will find on the car when you pick it up, if it has 15 miles on the paperwork". I can virtually guarantee it will be less than that, because tesla puts 15 miles on all new car paperwork to give them a bit of flexibility in moving cars around lots / deliveries etc.

If you want some corroboration other than mine, just search TMC for "15 miles".

I would be worried about other things on the car vs. the amount of miles that's on it. The 15 miles is also just a placeholder so it might be less, might even be more like when I received mine.
