New software update 10/24

Just got the notification on my app. Software update available. I'm at work away from my car. Anyone know what this newest update has? I was running the latest update from this weekend that enabled AEB at 90mph.

Do you have an AP2.5 car? It's probably 17.42.1 that fixes the issues with them, if you already have 17.42. What's your current release?

Yea i have AP 2.5. Thought the last update fixed everything over the weekend. This one sounds different. I had 17.42 over the weekend

42.1 fixes a false-positive alert on air suspension...and maybe other issues as well

Yep, 17.42.1 is for all AP2.5 cars and should prevent/fix the false positive SAS and Steering Assist alerts. No other changes we know of.

These firmwares are going to get so confusing between AP, AP2, AP2.5 etc. Can't wait for AP3 middle of next year I suspect (xavier)

I know. Would have been simpler to use the same one for all. But they must have a good reason.

I am betting they will converge again at next major release. This was a quick fix issue.

Just got 42.1 on our 2.5 AP X, while my 2 AP S remains on 42.

Yeah that's what it was. Now my "Contact Service Center" notification is gone and my air suspension works normally.

I have AP 2.5. My model s has had the air suspension light but also major issues with adaptive cruise control since friday's update. 3 or 4 times in the last few days I had to slam on the breaks while on autopilot when realizing the car wasn't going to stop on time. This didn't happen at all the last 4 weeks I've had the car. I kept using AP but on high alert and 99% of the time it was fine, but those 3 or 4 scares are enough to make me lose trust and keep my foot always hovering on the break. I can be ok with carefully monitoring autosteer, but ACC HAS to work!!! Anyway, hoping this update fixes it.

Otherwise, I LOVE my model s. Never had a more amazing experience in a car.
