Received and installed the Tesla flaps yesterday. They look fine but come down so low that they scrape the pavement when moving over speed bumps in parking lots, etc. when car is at 'medium' height suspension. May have to take them off and file 1/4in off the bottom and see if that helps.

I’m looking at the connections on my access point to see how often it connects and disconnects. I have a UniFi access point in my garage, so I know it isn’t a signal strength issue.

That's not the behavior of my Model X (nor previous Model S). It stays connected virtually 100% of the time its parked in garage, next to new Model S. Perhaps new chip and/or firmware...might be a good thing and saves a few milliwatts.

Just took delivery of a new 2022 LR Model S. Basically LOVE it. Yoke not an issue and in fact like it. Much more quiet, sturdy, and luxurious than previous 2019 LR. Only issue encountered thus far is that it drops the WiFi connection after about 20-30 minutes in the garage. Assuming it goes...

Same issue here; 2019 MS connected to iOS 14.4. The 'Text' John Doe command doesn't work either....

I got some news this week from a Service Manager that Tesla is working on a 'noise dampening cover' for noisy drive units. Appears that it will be a paid add-on, but if it works, I'm happy to sign up for it. Will be at least January before they have design, parts, tools, etc.

Just got V10 and all seems cool and OK except Caraoke. Regardless of which song I pick I just get a black window...no music and no words. The play button is greyed out and the fast forward and reverse buttons don't work. Anyone else seeing same behavoir?

They said it was 'normal' for permanent magnet motor; however, i'm taking it back and escalating the conversation. What I'm hearing can't be 'normal' or there would be a revolt among raven owners. I really love the car otherwise. New suspension is fantastic.

Same here; my equivalent 100% on new Long Range S is about 362, not 370. This is my 3rd Telsa. First MS never charged to advertised range either, but my wife's X did, and has lost only about 7 miles rated range in first year/12K miles. My new MS is already starting 8 miles under advertised...

Have a Service Center appointment next week. Will see what they say. Admittedly, it now appears to be limited to just the lower part of the previously reported range: only from about 0KW to about -20KW. I can barely hear it around 45MPH and it gets louder as car speed goes up from there...

Just picked up a Raven Model S. I hear the whine but only at highway speeds and only when motor is at certain RPMs. Specifically when it is consuming <15 KW or generating <15KW or so. Outside of that range the noise is non-existent for me. The issue isn't nearly bad enough for me to return...

To clarify, mine isn't so bad/loud I'd return the car. Also, depending on road-surface, nearby traffic noise, and sound system there are times I can't hear it at all.

Picked up new Raven S 10 days ago. Noticing a hi-pitched whine from front motor when driving at highway speeds (above 45mph or so), but only when the motor is consuming <10-15 KW or is generating <10-15KW. In other words, when it is turning 'slowly' in either direction. I'm assuming it is the...

I was one of the very first to receive the 77-C struts last Sept on my Sept/17 75D. Put about 10K miles on the car since then and problem has not returned. Happy customer here.

My 2018 MX100D just received this update. Dog mode is there but there is no sign of Sentry Mode...nothing in release notes and nothing on Safety/Security screen. Anyone else? Erased and reformatted SD card and dash cam appears to be working fine.

Just to be clear....I was one of the first to get the new struts and reported the new part number here in this thread. That was more than a month ago, and for me the problem is definitely still fixed.

Have noticed the same thing; no apparent correlation to any other functions (e.g., dashcam). Seems very random. Have noticed on both 2017 Model S and 2018 Model X.

Relevant info: air spring module-fr -ms2 dm (1067361-77-C). Replaced both front air struts.

Reported front-end 'noise' issue on 1/6/18 with my 2017 Model S75D. Today had front struts replaced with updated ones and problem finally appears to be gone. Let's hope it stays that way.

Just took delivery of new MX100D and have a 1 yr old MS75D. Have noticed that the rear liftgate beeps when opening/closing on the MS but not on the MX. Is that normal or is it an issue on the MX?

Had 1 short experience that sounds similar, but was on a very wet stretch of newly paved interstate....and i chalked it up to some bad paving. Lasted about 5 mins. Otherwise, a smooth ride all around. My car is in same VIN range. Took delivery on 9/22.

42.1 fixes a false-positive alert on air suspension...and maybe other issues as well
