No more M3LR in NY [posted 12.28.2023]

Just a tidbit of info. Friend test drove a M3LR today 12/28 and wants to buy one before the end of the year but there are none left in New York State. Apparently NY has some rule that a NY customer can only buy from NY inventory.
Obviously he did not give himself enough time and may just order one in 2024 if the price is ok.

The problem is the LR loses the rebate in '24, so that probably explains why they flew out the lots. It'd definitely cost him more, so a Performance might be more attractive. Or might as well wait for the much improved Highland version.

Low stock here in Toronto too. I'm really hoping the Highland comes soon, feels so odd now having no car for a few weeks...
