I had a few requests for some pictures of the Novitec CF Kit that I had put on my X. Typically, this aftermarket parts manufacturer makes equipment for high end Ferraris etc. I was surprised to see that they had decided to make a kit for the MX, and knowing how it fit and looked on my old F-car, I was really interested to see what they did here.
It has 4 basic options: front lip, rear diffuser, side skirts, and rear spoiler. Originally, due to the costs, I had opted for just the front lip. The parts are such high quality fit and finish, I ended up installing the complete kit. Its really subtle, but looks great - its the perfect update, where people will look, pause, and then after a few seconds ask "is that stock?".
For those wondering, here is the list of modifications:
- lowering brackets (unplugged performance)
- chrome delete (wrapped - Kartunz)
- wheel package (22" - AG Luxury)
- pedalbox (Kartunz)
- Carbon Fiber, lip, skirts and rear diffuser (Novitec)
- tint and some minor u/gs to the interior etc.
